Adrienne hopes to live internationally for a few years at some point in her life. A deeper world perspective and greater human empathy would be her anticipated rewards. Although Adrienne seems to have plenty of both as she proves through her significant community service and volunteering. Whether it’s with Lundstrum Performing Arts or Big Brothers Big Sisters, Play Like A Girl or Phillips Eye Institute Foundation, or any number of other service organizations, Adrienne takes service to others seriously.
This attention to others will be a significant asset for The Prouty Project clients Adrienne serves. As a senior consultant within the Strategic Planning group, Adrienne helps clients envision their bold futures and then determine the strategies and tactics to achieve that vision. Sounds challenging, but after her first week of work, Adrienne noted the remarkably positive energy among her coworkers and exclaimed, “Prouty is consulting with a heart!” Which makes the work so much more meaningful and fun.
Speaking of fun, the highlight of Adrienne’s life is her daughter, Kennedy, whom she describes as a loving and wonderful soul. Deeply involved in musical theater, Kennedy has performed in many productions across the Twin Cities, including shows at Children’s Theatre Company and Stages Theatre. Both are close to Adrienne’s parents who have been married for almost 50 years and who live in Columbus, Ohio, as well as Adrienne’s sisters and brother and their families.
If Adrienne could be or do anything, she’d want to be a dancer on Broadway or maybe a back-up dancer for Beyoncé. She also wants to have the ability to sing. So set the stage, she may be joining Kennedy for a mother-daughter show that travels internationally and always finds a way to give back.
